Oh man! I’d get married 10 more times just to work with the ladies of the Wedding Dress. It was so much fun going there. Our first appointment was great because my mother and I pulled dresses, as many as we wanted and tried them all on. Once Shelley and Lisa got to know us, they pulled dresses they thought we missed. We were the only ones in there and therefore had their undivided attention. By the time it was time for me to pick up my dress for the big day, I was almost sad my interaction with them was over! I really felt like they took the time to get to know us, to joke around and build a relationship with us. I’d go back there in a heartbeat for any other wedding needs I may have in the future (being a bridesmaid of course)

I cannot say enough about the Wedding Dress in Portland and would recommend them to any bride. This is a smaller shop that provides a very personable experience with a fantastic selection, amazing service and great pricing. Lisa was my consultant and she nailed it!!! although Shelley, and all of the staff were all extraordinary. I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for and she made all the right suggestions and had invaluable advice. I couldn’t believe the flexibility the store provided, they even had a seamstress available on the spot to show me what type of alterations could be made … “pick ups here, imaging with this extra jewel here, try this belt…” I have been to several larger shops that could not hold a candle to their selection, expertise and overall fun experience. When my car battery died at the end of our visit, they even jumped it for me . . . before I even bought anything. This is a must stop for any bride!!!!…
Shelley and her team made me feel like a princess, like I was the only bride they were working for. Before I went to the shop, I had an idea in mind for what I wanted for my dress and luckily Maria pulled a “what not to wear” on me and found me THE PERFECT DRESS! I was very happy with the service that The Wedding Dress offered, my only regret is that I did not get my attendants dresses there. Very personal and very Professional.
Great shop. This is a small shop by has a good amount of dresses considering the size. They had some very different dresses there, in terms of styles and designers I hadn’t tried on elsewhere. Lisa that works here is fabulous!! She is so nice, not pushy and will give you and honest opinion. She was very patient with me. They had dresses to fit a variety of budgets.
I tried on some of the sales dresses and despite being samples, they were in great shape because they help you in and out of the dresses carefully so if you are really on a budget or in a hurry, don’t hesitate ego go here to loo at samples. They also had some very pretty veils and headpieces here. I think it is worth the drive to go look here. They are pretty busy Thursday nights and Saturdays so if you can make a Friday morning appointment, you can get in soon.

One of a Kind Experience! Lisa and Shelley at The Wedding Dress were totally awesome! I had the best experience there out of the 4 shops I went to. It is an adorable boutique with a large selection of dresses that fit my budget. And I got 1 on 1 attention without feeling rushed or pressured into making a decision. I highly recommend checking out The Wedding Dress!
